I can’t for the life of me tell you what it is about, something about masks and costumes, but it touches me in that who we are is cast as a shadow on a wall bigger than real life but as penetrating and memorable as the beasts under our beds as children. When I think if the woman’s face, like a block of ice behind a curtain, I think of photographs of people I don’t know at a garage sale. The dress of lights is fashion on Broadway. The statue is a frat boy on a soap box in public.

Great. I should have done a close reading, but I must have been tired. I usually analyze work from a definitive point of view where the contents are definable words and those definitions provide the meaning.
