I had to travel to India to remind me just how lucky I am, it is a place not for the faint hearted, the smells, the experiences of something different that we just do not have here in UK!! the people, the beauty, and the grinding poverty, and filth – such contrasts! a journey worth taking – a journey that had to be taken, but with lovely people who accept things as they are, not to be hidden by any means.

    Hi Pinky
My son Andy gave me your blog page to have a look at and am about to go and have a browse around. I am off to India for a month in Oct and while speaking to Andy he suggested your site, so here I am and off to have a browse.

Flying into Delhi and then we have a few places in mind but nothing definate yet. \list so far not in order are Mysore, Kanha National Park, ooty, Kerala and that’s as far as we have got so far. Hoping to travel by train and just taking minimum luggage ie: backpack as I am sure we can pick up clothing. Any tips would be gratefully recieved.

What time of year are you heading over? If you are heading south i would pop into Gokarna. Beautiful holy beach town south of Goa. Sacred for Hindus and super chilled. A house boat on Kerala is worth the cash and Mumbai is a great city.

I must admit that travel blogs have always fascinated me. What is better is a travel blog with India specific posts. I am Indian but far away from home right now. Enjoy reading your posts and I hope you continue to rack up memorable experiences through your travels. Am glued to your page now.

Beautiful blog you have here! I’m a bit of a traveler myself, and it really inspires me to see all the exciting places other people have been – doesn’t hurt that your photography is fantastic as well… 🙂

    Pinky,

So glad I found your site, it’s inspiring to say the least! I love it. Your travels sound amazing and photographs are incredible.

I have spent this year traveling in SE Asia, currently teacihng English in Vietnam. I’m setting off to China and then Australia in a few weeks time, then… I plan to return to Scotland. I am really looking forward to seeing my friends and family but I am starting to feel like I need another adventure to plan! India sounds incredible. It might be next on my hit list.

Anyway, you can follow my journey here, if you have the chance:

Hey, Pinky! I am freshly new to blogging (literally today). I really enjoy your photos. I would love to travel South East Asia. My family is from China/Philippines. I studied abroad in the UK and loved it. I am jealous that you get to live there. If you have chance I would appreciate it if you would check out my one measly blog post haha.

    Cheers

Hi Michael! Long time no speak! I hope you’re okay. I still follow your page up now and again as it comes through on my email. I really hope you are safe in this awful time. Lots of love and good wishes,
Savannah and my mini shnorbits, Marley. ❤

Ps, Marley is 2 now and I’ve bought him FERRETS! Of course during this lock down, we have done some Ferret foot prints like the hamster prints I did for the journeys project 😜 was a blast from the past lol.
